Terms of Service

The agreement between you and ResourcePack AI: what you can do with the Service, what we do with what you make (you keep it, and we do not train on it), how plans and AI Credits work, and where the limits are.

LAST UPDATED 14 August 2026

1This agreement

These terms are the agreement between you and ResourcePack AI (we, us). They cover everything we run: resourcepack.ai and its documentation, the Studio app at studio.resourcepack.ai, the service that syncs a pack to a Minecraft server, our Discord bot, the plugins we publish, and our public test server. We call all of that the Service.

By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it. Our Privacy Policy explains what the Service records about you and forms part of this agreement.

Notices to us go to support@resourcepack.ai.

2Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are in the United Kingdom or the EEA and under 16, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf before you sign up, and by using the Service you confirm they have. If you are a parent or guardian who has done that, you are responsible for your child’s use of the Service, including anything bought through it.

If you use the Service for a company, school or other organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it, and you in these terms means that organisation as well as you personally.

3Your account

Keep the details on your account accurate, and keep your sign-in credentials to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything a person you invited to one of your packs does there. Tell us at support@resourcepack.ai as soon as you think someone else has access to it.

An account is for one person, and one person gets one account. Sharing an account to get round plan limits, pack limits or credit allowances is a breach of these terms, and so is the reverse: do not create additional or duplicate accounts in order to collect the free monthly AI Credits more than once, to get around the free plan’s pack limit, to claim a trial or promotion again, or to carry on using the Service after an account of yours has been suspended. That includes accounts made under different email addresses, different sign-in providers, or names other than your own.

The free plan is there so you can try the Service properly before paying for it. It is funded out of the money paid by people on the paid plans, which is why farming it across accounts is treated as a breach rather than as cleverness. If you find you need more than it gives you, that is what the paid plans and credit top-ups are for.

Where we reasonably believe accounts are being created to do this, we may merge or close the duplicates, remove credits granted to them, and refuse further signups. Genuinely separate people who share a household, school or network are fine — if that is you and something looks wrong on your account, email support@resourcepack.ai and we will sort it out.

4Plans, AI Credits and payment

Plans

There is a free plan and there are paid plans. What each one includes, and what it costs, is shown in the product at the time you buy — that page is the price list, not this one. Prices are in US dollars and may exclude taxes, which are added at checkout where they apply. Payments are handled by our payment processor; their terms cover the payment itself.

AI Credits

Generations are metered in AI Credits. The cost of each kind of generation is shown before you run it, and your balance and history are on your billing page.

  • Credits included with a plan are granted at the start of each billing period. Unused ones roll over for one further period and then expire.
  • Credits you buy as a top-up do not expire while your account is open.
  • Credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred between accounts. If a generation fails through a fault on our side, the credits for it are returned to your balance.
  • If you bring your own provider API key on a plan that allows it, generations run against that key and you pay that provider directly for them, not us.

Subscriptions and cancelling

Subscriptions renew automatically each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing page; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. If a payment fails we may suspend paid features until it is settled. If we change the price of a plan you are on, we will tell you before it applies to you, and you can cancel instead.

Refunds and your cancellation right

If you are a consumer in the UK or the EEA you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase of digital content. The Service delivers immediately, so when you buy credits or a plan and start using them you are asking us to begin supply straight away, and you acknowledge that you lose that cancellation right to the extent the content has been supplied. Anything not yet used, we will refund on request within those 14 days.

Outside that, refunds are at our discretion — ask us at support@resourcepack.ai and we will be reasonable, particularly if something went wrong at our end. Nothing here affects your statutory rights if what we supplied was faulty or not as described. Please talk to us before raising a chargeback; we may suspend an account while one is open.

5The affiliate programme

Every account has a referral link, and there is nothing to apply for. This section covers what you earn for sharing it and what you must not do to earn it. Everything else in these terms applies to you as an affiliate exactly as it does to you as a user.

How a referral is recorded

Your link carries your username as its code. When someone follows it we keep that code in their browser for 60 days; if they follow a different person’s link in the meantime, the most recent one is the one that counts. If they then create an account, that account is recorded as your referral.

That record is made once, when the account is created, and does not change afterwards. An account has at most one referrer, cannot be reassigned to a different one later, and cannot be claimed retrospectively for someone who signed up before following your link. Publishing to our gallery does the same thing automatically: if someone creates an account from one of your published pages, they are recorded as your referral, unless you published anonymously.

What you earn

You earn a share of what the people you refer pay us, for a fixed period after their account is created. The rate and the period are shown on your affiliate page in the product, which is the current statement of both; at the time of writing they are 40% and 12 months.

  • Commission is paid in AI Credits, never in money. It is converted at the standard list price of a credit at the time it is earned.
  • It is earned only on payments we actually receive and keep, which means subscriptions, credit top-ups and one-off purchases. You earn nothing on free credits, on credits granted for any other reason, on a payment that is refunded or charged back, or on an account that never pays us anything.
  • Each commission is held for a period after the payment before it reaches your balance, shown as pending on your affiliate page. At the time of writing that period is 30 days. It exists because a card payment can still be reversed in that time, and a commission that has not yet been released will be cancelled if the payment behind it is refunded or charged back.
  • Credits you earn are AI Credits like any other, and the AI Credits terms above apply to them in full. In particular they have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred to another account. There is no cash option and we do not offer one.

We calculate commission from our own records of what was paid. If you think a referral or a payment is missing, email support@resourcepack.ai and we will look into it properly.

What is not allowed

The programme exists to reward you for introducing people who genuinely want to build resource packs. These are the things that break it, and doing any of them is a breach of these terms:

  • Referring yourself. That includes signing up again under another email address or sign-in provider, and it includes accounts created on a device or browser you use. Signups from your own device do not count and are recorded as not counting.
  • Creating or arranging accounts in order to earn, including paying or otherwise rewarding people to sign up or subscribe when they have no intention of using the Service.
  • Spam.Unsolicited bulk email or messaging, comment or reply spam, mass tagging, and posting your link anywhere the platform’s own rules do not allow it.
  • Applying your code to people who never followed your link, by any technical means.
  • Misrepresenting us. Do not describe features that do not exist, promise results we do not promise, quote prices we do not charge, or imply you speak for us, work for us, or that your site, server or channel is ours or endorsed by us.
  • Trading on our name. Do not bid on it in paid search, and do not register domains, accounts or handles that could be mistaken for ours.

Where the law or the platform you are posting on requires you to disclose that you may earn from a recommendation, that is your responsibility and you must do it.

If you breach this section we may cancel the commissions involved, remove credits already added to your balance for them, end your participation in the programme, and, where the breach is serious or repeated, suspend the account under Suspension and closing accounts. We will tell you what we found and why, and if you think we have got it wrong you can take it up with us at support@resourcepack.ai.

Changing or ending the programme

We may change the rate, the earning period or the hold period. A change applies to referrals recorded after it takes effect and to payments made after it takes effect; it will not reduce commission you have already earned. We may also end the programme entirely, and if we do we will say so in advance and release commission already earned in the normal way, other than anything cancelled under this section.

Your relationship with us

Taking part does not make you our employee, agent, partner or franchisee, and you must not present yourself as any of those. You are responsible for any tax due on what you earn, and for anything you say when promoting the Service.

6Fair use of unlimited plans

Paid plans give you unlimited resource packs, and we do not meter storage. That is meant honestly — there is no counter quietly running down — but unlimited means unmetered for normal use rather than infinite, so there are two soft limits behind it:

  • 1 GB per resource pack.
  • 20 resource packs per account.

They exist so one account cannot make the service worse for everybody else, and they are set well above what building resource packs actually takes — a finished pack is normally a very long way under a gigabyte. If you are working on something that genuinely needs more, email support@resourcepack.ai and tell us what you are building; we will raise your limits. We would much rather do that than have you find out by hitting a wall.

We will always ask before acting on this. If an account goes well past these limits we will get in touch to learn what you are building and what it needs, and adapt to you — rather than deleting anything or cutting off access without warning. We may change these numbers as we learn what people need; if we lower them, existing packs will not be broken by it.

7What you make stays yours

You keep every right you have in what you upload and what you create with the Service — your prompts, your reference images, your textures, models, sounds, skins and finished packs. We claim no ownership of any of it.

You give us a limited licence to host, store, copy, transmit, render and display that content solely in order to run the Service for you: to show it back to you in the editor, to build and serve your pack, to push it to a server you have linked, to show it to people you invite to the pack, and to send what a generation needs to the model provider that fulfils it. The licence is worldwide and royalty-free because servers and CDNs are, and it ends when you delete the content or your account.

We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not licence it to anyone else to do so. That commitment is set out in full in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having the rights to what you put in. Do not upload reference images, textures, audio or anything else you are not allowed to use.

Work generated with free credits

There is one exception to the licence above, and it is limited to free AI Credits— credits we gave you rather than credits you paid for. That means the free plan’s monthly allowance, the credits a new account starts with, and any we hand out in a promotion or as a goodwill gesture. Where a generation was paid for entirely with those, you also give us permission to show the resulting picture and the prompt that produced it publicly, to demonstrate what the Service can do — on our site, in our documentation, in our Discord and on social media.

Anonymously, and only that much. We do not publish your name, username, account, avatar, Minecraft identity or your pack, we do not say who made it, and we do not link back to you. We do not share the underlying files — the model, the texture, the sound, the skin or the pack — only a picture of the result and the words that asked for it. Nothing about this changes who owns the work: it stays yours, you can publish it yourself, and you can sell it.

It does not apply to anything generated with credits you bought, with a paid plan’s credits, or with your own provider API key — those are yours alone. If we have shown something of yours and you would rather we did not, email support@resourcepack.ai and we will take it down.

8AI output, and what to expect from it

As between you and us, the assets the Service generates for you are yours, subject to your keeping to these terms. There are three honest caveats.

  • Output is not unique. Generative models produce similar results from similar prompts, and other people can and will generate things that resemble yours. We cannot and do not grant you anything exclusive.
  • We cannot warrant that output is original or free of third-party rights. If you plan to publish a pack commercially, review it first.
  • Output can be wrong. Geometry can be malformed, textures can miss the brief, a sound can be nothing like what you asked for. Check what the Service gives you before you ship it.

9Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to:

  • break the law, or help anyone else to;
  • infringe anyone’s intellectual property — including reproducing a paid pack, another creator’s work, or a brand you have no licence to;
  • create or distribute sexual content involving minors, content that sexualises real people without consent, or material that harasses, threatens or incites hatred or violence against people;
  • impersonate anyone, or produce assets designed to deceive players into thinking they came from someone else;
  • build or distribute malware, or anything intended to damage a server or a player’s client;
  • get round the limits of the Service — credit metering, rate limits, plan or pack limits, the access gate — whether by creating extra accounts, by automating signups, or by scraping or reselling access to it;
  • use output from the Service to train a competing generative model;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or copy the Service itself, beyond what the law expressly allows you to do regardless of this clause;
  • disrupt our test server, other players on it, or anyone else’s use of the Service.

If you see something on the Service that breaches this, or that infringes your rights, tell us at support@resourcepack.ai and we will look into it.

10Minecraft, Mojang and Microsoft

ResourcePack AI is not an official Minecraft product. It is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB, used here only to describe what the Service is for.

You must keep to Minecraft’s own end user licence agreement and usage guidelines when you use anything you make here — in particular their rules about selling and monetising content. Those rules are set by Mojang and can change; keeping to them is your responsibility, not ours.

11Plugins, and your own server

The plugins we publish are provided as they are, for you to install on servers you control and at your own risk. When you link a server, the Service can send that server pack downloads and in-game commands on your instruction. You are responsible for the server, for what you push to it, and for the players on it.

Our own test server is a convenience, not part of what a paid plan buys. It may be restarted, reset or taken down at any time, so do not keep anything there you would mind losing. We moderate it at our discretion and can remove anyone from it.

12Availability and changes to the Service

The Service is under active development. Features get added, changed and occasionally removed, and we depend on third-party providers whose own services can change or fail. We do not promise uninterrupted availability and there is no service level agreement, though we will give reasonable notice before removing something a paid plan materially depends on.

Some features may be labelled early access, beta or experimental. Those are exactly what they sound like and may break.

13Suspension and closing accounts

You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time — see our Privacy Policy for how deletion works today.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that has not paid, or where we reasonably believe continuing would create a legal or security risk. Where it is reasonable to do so we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right; for serious breaches we may act immediately. When an account closes, access ends, unused credits lapse except where the law says otherwise, and its content may be deleted after a reasonable period.

14Disclaimers and liability

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided as it is and we do not give implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of output. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost or corrupted data, or indirect or consequential loss; and our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or £100. Keep your own copies of work that matters to you — the Service has an export, and it is there to be used.

15Indemnity

If you use the Service other than as a consumer, you will indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your content or your breach of these terms. This clause does not apply to consumers.

16Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes, and will update the date at the top when we do. If a change materially affects your rights we will give you reasonable notice by email or in the product before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, close your account.

17Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom or in the EEA, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of where you live, and you can bring proceedings in your local courts.

18The rest

  • These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the Service, and replace anything said before.
  • If any part of them turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies and that part is read down to what is enforceable.
  • Not enforcing something once does not mean we have given it up.
  • You may not transfer this agreement. We may transfer it to a successor to the business, on notice to you.
  • Nobody other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms.
  • Questions, notices, complaints: support@resourcepack.ai.
